Cancellation Policy

How SyncX Esports handles tournament and scrim cancellation requests, with refund outcomes based on matchmaking status.

Refunds depend on whether matchmaking has completed.
A cancellation requested before matchmaking is completed is fully refundable with no administrative fee. Once matchmaking is completed, a cancellation is subject to a 25% administrative fee, so 75% of the entry fee is refunded. Every request is submitted through SyncX support and remains subject to review and approval.

A cancellation requested after matchmaking is completed is subject to a 25% administrative fee, so 75% of the entry fee is refunded.

SyncX cancels the event
If SyncX cancels an event, the participant receives a full refund or the option to join the rescheduled event.

If an event is cancelled due to insufficient participants, the entry fee is fully refunded.

A participant who fails to join within the 10-minute lobby buffer may be marked as a No-Show and is not eligible for a refund.

01 · Participant cancellation
Request via support
Submit a cancellation request through SyncX support. The refund depends on matchmaking status: 100% before matchmaking, 75% after matchmaking.
02 · Event cancellation by SyncX
Full refund or reschedule
SyncX may cancel due to technical issues, operational issues, insufficient participants, or other circumstances. Participants receive a 100% refund or the option to join the rescheduled event.
03 · No-show cancellation
10-minute lobby buffer
A participant who fails to join within the 10-minute lobby buffer may be marked as a No-Show, and no refund is issued.
Cancellation consequences
Submitting a request releases the associated slot immediately. The team may be returned to matchmaking or removed from the event, and repeated changes can affect future registrations. SyncX may deny a request involving a no-show, a disqualification for cheating or a rule violation, an entry connected to a suspended or banned account, altered payment proof, a chargeback, or misuse of the refund process. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
